Andy leads data science across the Somerset system, applying discrete event simulation and causal impact analysis to non-elective care, patient flow, emergency and prehospital services. Through his PenCHORD research and two years mentoring on the Health Service Modelling Associates scheme, he has helped build the next generation of NHS data scientists.

Bruna is a chartered health psychologist with over a decade of research experience across academia and the charity sector, spanning appearance psychology, craniofacial conditions, cardiovascular health and inequalities. Founder of HumanSide Health, she leads multi-stakeholder programmes that translate complex evidence into patient-centred policy, services and interventions, and is a widely published author and speaker.

Jess researches the responsible use of health data at the Yale Digital Ethics Center, having previously been at the University of Oxford and lead researcher for the UK Government review Better, broader, safer: using health data for research and analysis. She challenges the hype around AI, advocating implementation built on safety, equity and transparency.

Rachel has over fifteen years of NHS experience, six of them at NHS England, where she works in System Transformation's Population Health Management team. A Chartered Statistician of the Royal Statistical Society, she supports system partners to develop their data infrastructure, intelligence functions and analyst workforce, and co-chairs the AphA PHM network.

Simon works at the intersection of health data science, operational modelling and leadership within NHS England's South West Intelligence and Insights Team. A FEDIP Leading Practitioner and AphA Deputy Director of Regions, he is a regular voice at CDAON, Southwest Connect and HDR UK, championing open-source tools and the analyst as strategist.

Zoë is a senior data scientist working across mental and physical health services, using R and SQL to deliver analytics that change practice. A leading advocate for reproducible analytical pipelines and a Senior Fellow of the NHS-R Community, she trained originally in philosophy and brings a sharp interest in data ethics, open source and building analytical capability.
